The competition for the pole position came down to the wire between Larson and Chris Buescher, reminiscent of their close race last spring in Kansas. Larson’s pole lap narrowly edged out Buescher by 0.056 seconds, securing the front row start for the race. Despite the tight competition, Larson expressed his happiness and pride in his team, noting the improved pace and performance of his car for the upcoming race. The starting lineup also featured strong performances from drivers like Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick, and Joey Logano, promising an exciting race ahead at the 1.5-mile track.
